Catstrate Me is responsible for personal data submitted through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it and the rights available to you.
What we collect
We collect information you choose to provide through our forms: your name, email address, an optional phone number on the volunteer form, volunteering preferences, product interest and the content of your messages. We also record the submission time and source. The server may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, for security and diagnostics.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer questions, coordinate volunteering, provide requested updates about a product or initiative, administer the website and prevent misuse. We do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Legal basis
Depending on the context, processing is based on your consent, the need to respond to a request you have made, our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website, or a legal obligation.
Who receives it
Access is limited to the people handling the relevant enquiry and service providers needed for hosting and email. If a specific request requires a clinic or project partner, we will share only what is necessary and only with an appropriate basis. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months after the last correspondence. Volunteer details are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact unless an active volunteering relationship begins. Product-interest details are kept until the relevant update is complete and for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Email-update subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and external resources
The website uses only technically necessary cookies for security, sessions and language selection. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and interface files may be loaded from Google Fonts and jsDelivr; those providers receive standard technical request data when the files are loaded.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. Email hello@catstrateme.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection.
